Broken neck & brain injury
Wabash, Indiana (Northern Indiana)
A traveling salesman was involved in a truck accident on the highway in Northern Indiana, resulting in a broken neck and brain injury. His injury caused problems with his memory and eyesight. The workers compensation carrier assigned a nurse case manager (NCM) who interfered with medical recommendations from the authorized medical providers, and also attempted to “doctor-shop” to prevent certain medications from being provided.
After extensive conflict and litigation by attorney Charles Carlock, all necessary medical bills were covered. The client received 500 weeks of temporary total disability (TTD) payments, and also retained access to additional “Second Injury Fund” benefits.
